About me
I am an artist and writer from Melbourne/Narmm. Having spent time living in London and Edinburgh where I completed my Masters in Fine Art. My work bridges the complicated relationship between who we want to be and who we really are. The everyday, the mundane, overheard conversations and our inner thoughts we don’t often share. A lot of my work is inspired by average everydayness and what it means to be a vulnerable, fallible, everyday person trying to get through a seemingly ordinary life.
When creating art, I’m trying to write and make things that are a representation of my place in the world and my head at that time. It’s hard to be vulnerable, but here I am trying to write what I really want to write. It’s hard and confronting but as I try and explore this universal aspiration to be authentic and vulnerable.
